Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. This site also uses local storage, which behaves the same way from your point of view but stays in the browser instead of travelling with every request. We use both. What follows is the complete list — the actual items this site stores, not categories in the abstract.

These make the site function. They carry no advertising value, so they do not require your consent and cannot be switched off. • veneta_token — keeps you signed in. Removed when you sign out. • veneta_user — your basic account details, so the site knows who you are. • app_currency — whether you asked to see prices in ALL or EUR. • language — the language you chose: Albanian, English or Italian. • veneta_consent — your cookie choice itself, and when you made it. Kept for 12 months. • Your basket, so it survives a page reload. • sidebar_state — used only inside the administration area.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other analytics or advertising tracker. This site sets no such cookie today. The toggle exists so that if we ever introduce measurement it starts switched off and waits for you, rather than appearing one day already on.

Our contact page can show a Google map of our premises. A Google map cannot load without disclosing you to Google: it receives your IP address, your browser details and the page you came from, and may set its own cookies. So we do not load it by default. You will see a placeholder with a button, and the map appears only once you press it or enable 'Embedded content' in the cookie banner. There is also a link that opens the same location in Google Maps in a new tab, which keeps this site out of it entirely.

Telling you what actually happens rather than what is convenient: this site currently loads its typefaces — Playfair Display, DM Sans and Nunito — from Google's font service. Your browser therefore contacts Google to fetch them, and Google receives your IP address in doing so. This request sets no cookie. We regard this as a defect rather than a feature, and intend to serve these fonts from our own domain so no request reaches Google at all. This section will be deleted once that is done.

• Use the 'Cookie settings' link in the footer of any page. It reopens the banner and clears your stored choice, returning you to a clean slate. • Your browser can also block or delete cookies and site data for this domain — look under Privacy in its settings. Blocking the strictly necessary items will stop parts of the site working, including staying signed in. Withdrawing is exactly as easy as agreeing, which is what the law requires of us.

If we add anything that stores data in your browser we will list it here, and where it needs consent we will ask you again rather than assume your previous answer still covers it.
